One of our core Values is People – We respect and value our people and our customers. We take great pride in the diversity of our people. Our programs ensure that all staff understand how the corporate Vision and Values positively impacts individual behaviours and drives the BSP Life culture. We have other programs to measure how well staff are managed to make BSP Life a better organisation for customers, staff and insurance agents to provide assurance and good results for our shareholders.
The BSP Life Team comprises of twenty-five staff members. This includes the Quality Assurance & Compliance Manager, three staff under the leadership of the Finance Manager, six staff under the Operations Manager and twelve staff under the Head of Sales. The team is further strengthened with our young and vibrant Country Manager.

Rabbie Namaliu Jnr
CHAIRMAN
Rabbie Namaliu Jnr is the Chairman of the Board of Directors for BSP Life PNG Limited and an Independent Director. Mr Namaliu Jnr has worked with several organisations in both Brisbane, Australia and Papua New Guinea. He is currently the General Manager of Frontier Equities Limited. Mr Namaliu Jnr has a Bachelor of Business Economics from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and a Graduate Certificate in Business (Accounting), also from QUT.
Dr Wayne Beilby
INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR
Dr Wayne Beilby is the BSP Life PNG Limited Remuneration and Nomination Committee Chairman and an Independent Director based out of New Zealand. Dr Beilby is an insurance professional and a Fellow and Mentor of the Australia New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF). Dr Beilby has held a number of senior executive positions in New Zealand, South Korea and the Solomon Islands. He was the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Tower Insurance (PNG) Limited between 2004 and 2015 before moving back to New Zealand. Dr Beilby has a MBA from Deakin University and practiced law in New Zealand for 10 years. Dr Beilby also has a Doctorate in Corporate Governance from Southern Cross University.
Dr. Cecilia Nembou, OBE
INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR
Dr Cecilia Nembou is a mathematician by training and a former Vice Chancellor of the Divine University multi-campus system in Papua New Guinea. She is a founding member of the Board of the PNG Institute of Directors. She has served on several Boards including Councils of Universities as well as on Boards of State-Owned Enterprises and Boards of commercial and non-government organizations. At the end of 2020 she retired from a 43-year long academic career, including senior academic and executive roles at the University of Papua New Guinea, University of Wollongong in Dubai and Divine Word University. Also in 2020, the Government of PNG recognised her services by a Queen’s birthday award of “Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, OBE”. Dr Nembou holds a Doctorate from the University of New South Wales (1992) in Sydney, Australia, a Master of Science from the University of Sussex (1978) in Brighton UK, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Papua New Guinea (1975). While in retirement she is the Executive Director of Nembou Consulting Services Limited and holds the position of Adjunct Professor in Management at the Faculty of Business and Informatics, Divine Word University.
Ronesh Dayal
NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Ronesh Dayal is a Non-Executive Director of BSP Life PNG Limited and the Group Chief Financial Officer of BSP Financial Group Limited (BSP). He progressed into executive roles when he was appointed to the role of CFO for BSP Fiji Branch in December 2010 and was the first local CFO for BSP Bank. He was later appointed to the Deputy CFO BSP-PNG position in 2014 and eventually CFO BSP PNG Bank in 2017. Mr. Dayal has a Bachelor of Arts Degree with double Majors in Accounting and Financial Management and Information Systems from the University of the South Pacific. He is currently the President of CPA Australia PNG Branch and acts as mentor to a number of BSP’s Leadership and Management Development program participants. He is a member of Chartered Accountants of CPA Australia, Chartered Accountant of CPA PNG and Chartered Accountant of The Fiji Institutes of Accountants.

Nilson Singh
COUNTRY MANAGER
Nilson Singh is the Country Manager at BSP Life PNG Limited. Mr Singh has over 12 years of Life Insurance experience through his various roles at BSP Life (Fiji) Limited, which includes Manager Finance, Financial Controller and Manager Strategy & Business Development. Prior to this, Mr Singh worked in the assurance division at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Fiji for 3 years. Nilson has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting & Financial Management and Information Systems from the University of the South Pacific. He completed the Fiji Directors Course with Australian Institute of Company Directors. Nilson is a full member of Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA) Australia, CPA PNG and Australian Institute of Company Directors. Nilson has a Certificate IV in Life Insurance with Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) and a Diploma in Life Insurance program.
Matthew Hasu
HEAD OF SALES
Matthew Hasu is the Head of Sales at BSP Life PNG Limited. Previously, Mr Hasu was the Senior Manager, Strategy and Investor Relations with BSP for over 4 years before joining BSP Life PNG. Prior to joining BSP, Matthew was the Financial Controller of Teachers Savings & Loans Society (TISA). Matthew holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Finance & Accounting from the University of Westminster, London. He also has a first Degree in Business Economics, and a Diploma of Accountancy from the PNG University of Technology, Lae. Matthew is a member of Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA) PNG and the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF).
Jennifer Manimua
FINANCE MANAGER
Jennifer Manimua is the Finance Manager at BSP Life PNG Limited. Jennifer commenced her career with BSP Financial Group Limited as a graduate trainee in 2015. She later joined BSP Finance (Holding) Ltd as a Business Analyst before joining BSP Life PNG Limited in 2018 as the Administration Accountant. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accountancy from Divine Word University, Madang. She is a full member of Certified Practising Accountants (CPA PNG) and has a Certificate IV and Diploma in Life Insurance with Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF).
Adelaide Senior
OPERATIONS MANAGER
Adelaide Senior is the Operations Manager at BSP Life PNG Limited. Adelaide commenced her career with Southern Cross Assurance Limited as an underwriting officer. She held various roles within the Underwriting Department where she gained 7 years of general insurance experience. Adelaide joined BSP Life PNG Limited in 2019 as the Broker Relationship Officer and then moved to Cover Management Officer in April 2020. Adelaide holds a Diploma in Risk Management and is a Senior Associate CIP member of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF). Adelaide also has a Certificate IV in Life Insurance and General Insurance with ANZIIF.
Sarah Wartovo
QUALITY ASSURANCE & COMPLIANCE MANAGER
Sarah Wartovo is the Quality Assurance & Compliance Manager at BSP Life PNG Limited. Sarah joined BSP Financial Group as a Graduate Trainee in 2016 and has worked in various roles within the Retail Strategic Business Unit. In 2019 Sarah moved to the Internal Audit Business Unit where she gained 4 years of audit experience, before joining BSP Life PNG Ltd. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and Computing Degree from the Pacific Adventist University and is a full member of Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA PNG).
David Goodsall
APPOINTED ACTUARY
“As required under the Insurance Act of 2000, David Goodsall was appointed Actuary for BSP Life PNG Limited in 2017. David is the Director of Synge and Noble Pty Ltd., a specialist advisory firm based in Sydney Australia. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia, a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst, an Associate of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He has extensive experience in the Australian and Indonesian markets, having 13 appointed actuary roles and has been Advisor to numerous major life and wealth management organisations”.
